At the heart of South East Asia, the kingdom of Thailand is a natural gateway to Indochina, Myanmar and Southern China. Thailand is a constitutional monarchy with His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, or King Rama IX, the ninth king of the Chakri Dynasty, the present king. The King has reigned for more than half a century, making him the longest reigning Thai monarch. Thailand embraces a rich diversity of cultures and traditions. With its proud history, tropical climate and renowned hospitality, the Kingdom is a never-ending source of fascination and pleasure for international visitors.
Thailand is located among the circle of Neighboring countries;
1) Myanmar - west and north, 2) Lao P.D.R. - north and northeast, 3) Cambodia - southeast and 4) Malaysia - south.

Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, ?Bangkok, Thailand. Also known as the Maha Uma Devi temple or shortly called as "wat khaek" in Thai.
Located at the corner of Pan road and Silom Road, opposite of Narai Hotel, Sri Maha Mariamman Temple shows the religious tolerance in the Thai society. It houses the statues of Hindu Gods and Goddesses. Around the temple, there are many flower stalls and plenty of visitors come to the temple compound to pay homage to gods and take a closer look at ceremonies.

 Silom Street of Multi-Lifestyles Silom is the street of multi-lifestyles. The merchandise list is unending, ranging from food stuffs, clothing, jewery, entertainment goods, to high-tech items. The colorful street is dotted with office workers, students, venders, soothsayers, and fortune-tellers, and beggars with musical talents. At street corners during the daytime, some young kids play their musical instrument to passers-by far a few coins. After sunset, another set of players fill the street to entertain night visitors.
